New in Destin for 2014

For our guests who enjoy visiting the Emerald Coast each year, we know it is fun to visit your favorite restaurants and attractions, but it’s also fun to try something new. Here’s a look at what’s new in Destin for 2014.

New at HarborWalk Village

Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Restaurant opened at HarborWalk Village this spring. Parrotheads are rejoicing in Margaritaville's Destin location, featuring great music along with Margaritaville’s signature, island-inspired menu, along with spectacular views of the Destin Harbor.

For another view of the Destin Harbor, try out the new HarborWalk Village Zip Line. The 80-foot zip line allows adventure seekers a bird’s eye view of the Destin Harbor. Our friends at TripSmarter.com recently captured the action.

New at Destin Commons

The Groovy Grouper Grill is new to Destin Commons and is bringing a new level of culinary excellence and wine pairings to the Gulf Coast. At the Groovy Grouper, diners will enjoy dining while watching cooking demos by Chef Orion Cordoves, and wine education by managing partner Kevin Moran. Moran is a certified Level 2 Master Sommelier and he will be introducing wine education classes at The Groovy Grouper in the near future.

Abrakadoodle is introducing a new series of art camps this summer.  Abrakadoodle Summer Art Camps offer a fun break for kids to share their creativity through a special art project. From Rock ‘n Roll to Rainforests to Pirates and Princesses, there is a themed class that little tikes will love.

In other news, Destin Commons will welcome H&M to their collection of more than 70 stores this summer!

We look forward to welcoming you to the Emerald Coast where new experiences as well as your favorites are waiting. If you haven’t booked your vacation, click here for list of available Destin condos and luxury Destin houses and plan your dream beach getaway today.
