"This is the Place"

Many enjoy the relaxing sounds of the beach, including the sound of waves lapping the shore, seagulls calling as they fly overhead and children's laughter. And now South Walton has a another sound--a song.

The area's beaches are irresistible to many, including talented musicians. We know of several celebrity songwriters and musicians, including Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Amy Grant and Vince Gill and Kellie Pickler who come to our beautiful beaches to escape. And we recently learned Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles loves this area too! Known for hits, including "Walk Like An Egyptian," "Manic Monday" and "Eternal Flame," Hoffs recently recorded a song for South Walton.  Check out "This is the Place" to hear Hoffs rendition of what South Walton means to her.
